Since summer 2007, Toronto’s own Gifty Singh has exploded on the local R&B / soul scene. Gifty started his career being hand picked by Toronto super producer and Drake’s official mix engineer Noah “40” Shebib (credits include Successful and Brand New) to take part in the globally recognized youth arts program ‘The Remix Project”. With 40 as his mentor and mix engineer, Gifty Singh released Lovestreet, his debut album, independently in the summer of 2008. Since then, Gifty has also been featured on the Boys & Girls Club compilation disc and Global News recognizing the Toronto’s talent involved in local community service.
